FAQ
Some years ago, Pandinavia launched the internal project team «Pandinavia nachhaltig». Since then, concrete measures have been implemented: electricity consumption has been switched to green energy, the vehicle fleet has been converted to e-mobility, and CO₂ emissions are calculated and offset annually in collaboration with ClimatePartner.
The goal is clear: to be the most sustainable partner for its clients in the market. Further details are available on the Sustainability page.
Pandinavia holds multiple awards and certifications:
- EcoVadis Gold Status: Placing Pandinavia among the top five percent of companies evaluated worldwide.
- ISO 14001: As the first and to date only company in the Swiss promotional products industry to hold this internationally recognised environmental management certification.
- ClimatePartner certified: Annual calculation and offsetting of greenhouse gas emissions since 2019.
- amfori BSCI member: Commitment to fair working conditions throughout the entire supply chain since 2009.
The CO₂ Checker is a tool developed by Pandinavia that scientifically analyses the carbon footprint of a promotional products range.
From the analysis, concrete measures can be derived and alternative promotional products with lower CO₂ emissions identified. In one practical example, a Swiss medical technology company was able to reduce its CO₂ output by 32% thanks to the tool.
Further information is available on the CO₂ Checker page.
Pandinavia divides its sustainable range into four categories:
- Upcycling: Products made from waste materials such as coffee grounds, orange peel or ocean plastic.
- Bio-based: Items made from renewable raw materials generated by the food industry, such as rice or sugarcane residues.
- Recycling: Products made from recycled materials such as PET bottles or plastic production offcuts.
- Natural: Articles made from renewable raw materials such as organic cotton, bamboo or FSC-certified wood.
The sustainable range is available to browse directly in the online shop.
Pandinavia offers clients various ways to pursue their sustainability goals. The CO₂ Checker can be used to analyse and optimise the entire promotional products range in terms of its carbon footprint.
Individual orders can also be linked to a climate protection contribution.
